How awesome would it be to put an LS2 into a Solstice? Any clues as to if it might fit?

any ideas on this that would be awesome, my dad just asked if they would put one in it. I doubt it becasue of the weight factor but it'd be like a cobra

its basically the f-body twins all over again with different names, and a different brand.

btw i love the sky it is beautiful. :drool: especially with an LS2

Sweet! LS2 Soltice,.... I wonder how the extra weight would make it handle?

hot rod is already ahead...several months ago they published the mag with the LS7 in the solstice that they had convinced GM engineers to build w/ weight reduction (CF), suspension, etc... the whole setup. lets just say, its what everyone would expect for overall tests!

found a vid on youtube. there are a couple on there...

oh yea i forgot they did a couple engine mods as well, nothing real fancy, just a few boltons and i beleive a mild cam... its been a while since i read the mag.

There was an option (majorly expensive by Mallett) to install the LS7 in there. God what a price tag on the total job.

If they offer a LS2 sky I will be in line to buy one. MUCH nicer looking car than the Pontiac,the really screwed up on the looks . Now a saturn sky=head turner with power. Rick:D
