Maybe a fuel pressure check. Check to see if you can hear the fuel pump priming. Check fuel pump fuses and relays. Fuel in the fuel rail. Check spark plugs for fuel flooding due to stuck injector ect...

VATS chip in key?? The VTD link in the 'Starter Solinoid dosnt Click' writeup dosen't work for me so I dont know if it is covered in there. :dunno:

:sillyme: Nevermind... I saw the Ignition Cylinder Lock writeup once the page refreshed.

Doesn't Ignition Lock cover the VATs issue?

Naah. There is the ignition lock cylinder which provides the female for the male resistor in the key. There is the wiring underdash. There is on that system IIRC (Passkey II?) a VATS module under-dash as well.

:sadnana:

I know this is going to sound dumb, but it happened to me. My car wouldn't start so I called Chevy and thy guy told me to whipe my key off. I did and it worked. I felt like an ass.

Look in the Ignition Lock link. I think cleaning the key is one of the recommended actions.
