Hey everyone--
I have a 2002 ws6 with warped rotors... im sure that sounds all too familiar. I want to upgrade the brakes but dont have enougn money to spend on a complete kit (1500 is too much). I planned on buying new rotors and pads. I was wondering what kind are the best?
Thanks in advance

I've been running Powerslot rotors for around 25K miles. No problems with them at all. I can't recall what brake pads I got, I want to say Hawk but again they are doing great.

uh oh i didnt know about those.... this may mean im torn between three...
I have heard good things about all and negative about one (the eradispeed, but only if its crossdrilled) unfortunately i love the look of the eradispeed

I do alot of auto x and i'm running Brembo blanks w/ PBR pads. I'm very happy with my set up. The rotors look stock so they wont get the attention like the eraidspeeds but they work very, very well and they wont warp. I dont really care if my rotors look good as long as they dont warp or crack on me. Give strano a call and they will take care you you.

I have iROTOR cross drilled and slotted rotors with TRW pads and I'm happy with the performance and the looks. The zinc coating keeps them looking nice. I use them for normal use though. I have under $500 in doing all four.

I have had a 2002 SS for a week and a half now and have noticed under moderate braking that there is a wicked shimmy in the steering wheel and slight vibration in the front end... my thoughts immediately was a warped rotor(s)... Although I did not notice it on the test drive and it disappears during light normal traffic braking...
What am I looking at? I figure it is a warped rotor(s) and what options do I have to upgrade or replace?

I would go with the brembo blanks... I dont know from personal experience but i have been doing ALOT of research on a bunch of forums and for the price you cant beat em. I got brembos and pads from strano auto parts (they are a sponsor) for under 250... you cant beat that price for the quality. I should be getting them very soon.. Once i have them on ill post how i like them.

I am very interested in how your install and braking experience is with the Brembo brakes! $250 does not sound that bad, now I just have to save up the scratch...
