how high does your clutch release???

mine is getting pretty close to teh top, it has 22k on it now bought the car with 16k on it, never have driven another vette at all so i dont know what the place for engagement is on a new clutch

just need to know so i can plan for if i need a new clutch :(

My '96 clutch engages REALLY high, like the last 20% of travel. But, that doesn't apply here.

Most people like it to engage close to the top. :confused:

You don't have to worry about it going out on you until the engagement point starts moving close to the floor.

If it's bothering you, get an adj. master and you can set the engagement point wherever you want.

Of course, your clutch will go out sooner or later anyhow, so an aftermarket clutch is never a bad idea.
