LS6 vs LS1

So...

If I have an LS1 and swap the heads, cam and intake outta an LS6, would the engines be mostly the same (save for the less restrictive exhaust)? :confused:

Always wanted to know this, and always wanted to be the first post in a forum category. ;)

the block on a ls6 is suposed to be a tad better and last a little longer..but other than that its the same thing

ull be better off gettin the ls1 block and aftermarket heads and cam to make a ton of power
