E-brake help!

When I put on the e-break I just press in the button and move it up. I go to disengage it and its stuck. I have to really work on it with force to get the spring mechanism or whatever to let go. What gives? :help:

Don't press the button when you are engaging it, just pull it up. Pressing the button at thesame time that you bring it up you are just bringing the handle to it's limit, which is making it harder for you to disengage it.
