I was running an open solenoid and got dyno tuned this weekend and my A/F was almost at 16. I also found out I have a small blown head gasket, not bad but still blown. I picked up 170 rwhp and 225 lb.ft. of torque. It was crazy but it melted one of my brand new TR6s. Time for a new pump and bigger injectors and then a 200 shot.

what size jets would i need for the 5177 to pick up 150 rwhp? ive heard running no jets only nets a 135 rwhp gain, because it cant atomize correctly. ive also heard of people gaining 150 rwhp running no jets, so i am kinda lost.

the chart I saw said that .044s supposedly makes 150 hp, but I dont know how accurate that is.

Its a 2002 LS1nut.
As far as jet size I was running like .085 jets or something like that. Pretty much an open hole through a jet so it can close up properly.

Yeah it was a jet for a 300 shot I believe. The solenoid will only flow either a 150 or 170 shot so I was just trying to get as big a shot as the noid would go. Dont worry though because I have a blown head gasket right now and a ticking noise which I think is a bent valve.:(

I drilled out some 50 hp jets with my smallest drill bit. I am a little worried about spraying with both of them in there though, they are pretty big now.
