If I have LS1 edit, and install a radical cam, how do I initially tune the car besides Idle increase? Scaling the LTFT's? I am guessing I need autotap?

If you don't already have Edit then you probably want
HPTuners (if they do deliver as promised). You will need
both logging/scanning and programming ability. AutoTAP
and EFILive are both non-PCM/VIN locked so for a one-time
deal you might be able to find a car-club buddy to loan or
even help you.

Most likely changes:
- raise idle
- modify low-RPM VE table entries (cut surging)
- raise misfire thresholds (esp. on an automatic to keep
TC from constantly unlocking / relocking)
- raise rev limiters, shiftpoints (if auto), etc. to take full
advantage of the cam power curve - after having put in
springs and pushrods that can take it, of course.

Depending on how "radical" of a cam you put in there you "may" have to drill the TB out a tad.

You want to get your IAC's in line first and then go from there. After that you will adjust your VE table according to how the car responds with surging ect. When you tune the LTFT's, you will scale the entire IFR table. Then, allowing for learn time, log for results. Adjust more if necessary.
