I lowered my car 1.5 years ago with G2 springs, and did no other suspension mods at the time. It seems to drive and handle fine to me, but it's just a street car. In reading posts, it seems popular mods to compliment the lowering springs include shocks, LCA relocating brackets, and an adj. PHR. If I'm missing anything here, feel free to add to the list.

My question is about the shocks. How much of a difference will be noticed if I get new shocks to better match the rates of the new springs (keeping in mind it's driven on the street only)? I realize that this is purely each person's opinion, but I am interested in them. I have begun to look at shocks, namely revalved Bilsteins, and would like people's thoughts on those, as well as any other recommended shocks, too.

As a slight aside, I was planning on going with BMR suspension components, but recent readings have started to sway me in other directions. Do any other brands besides G2 (the directions I'm leaning) get high marks for all their suspension components? Thanks for any input!:)

I have revalved bilsteins with pro kits and I'm very happy with them. Handles great and rides very well also.

Spohn makes killer suspension components also.

I have Hotchkis springs (1 inch drop). I did not do the shocks for 6 months. I could tell on the freeway they were had. So I upgraded the shocks to Bilsteins. I added Subframe Connectors also. What a difference.

getting shocks to match the springs will make the ride less harsh, ie, making it feel more confortable and under control... and will perform better (handling)
