If you clutch is sticking to the floor, I have seen people say .. it is your slave .. I have also seen people say you must change the clutch ... etc ..
If you go to an aftermarket clutch that has more "holding power", does that mean your hydrolics have to work "less" or doesn't it matter?
I am getting ready to possibly do the new mods in my sig and I want to make sure when I finally do a clutch, I do it right .. If I go with an aftermarket clutch, will I still have the issue of clutch sticking to the floor?
This is a daily driver
thanks,
Crowley

First off you will definetly want an aftermarket clutch that can hold some HP. Never put back in a stock one or even a ZO6. If you need a new clutch and are having issues with the pedal that to me throws up a hydraulic flag. I would just spend the extra 100 bux for a new slave, do the drill mod and install it while the clutch is already out. The master can be done later without the tranny out so if you wanna get away without then you possibly can. Hope that helps some.

you need to either do the drill mod to your master or replace it with a 01-02 upgraded one you also need to replace the slave
you will need a better clutch for those mods i recomend and sell SPEC 3 Xpad for your set up

The 01' slave still requires the drill mod.

Well, is the holding power from a friction surface change, or from a stiffer spring(s) in the pressure plate? If it's coming from stiffer spring(s), then some added strain to the hydraulics occurs, yes.

If you have not done the drill mod, and bled it well, then diagnosis of a stuck pedal is irrelevant. Drill mod comes first, before "make my pedal come back up" does.
