Like an idiot, I didn't put any sort of gas stabilizer in my car this winter. The tank is completely full however, so I can reduce condensation. It has been sitting for 5-6 months. Should I run it through, or should I drain it. I have no idea how to drain it either. Also, I have been using Mobile ! synthetic 10-30...should I stick with that? Whats a good filter to use as well.

You'll probably be fine, just don't drive it hard at first, and keep topping up the tank with fresh gas every 100 miles.

My car has sat for a month or so with the same gas, no problems. Its not like its been 5 or 6 years.

Well I started it today, at first it was fine, but after I shut it off to go in a store, and start it again, it had a really hard time starting. Once it was started it stumbled really bad. Could a bad battery cause it to stumble? I went to test my battery and they said it was shot. I also put some Heat in the gas tank and it seemed to help a little bit. I also replaced the fuel filter about 2 years ago. What are some other things I should check for stumbling. It did this last year, but not as bad. The winter this year was worse than last year though, MUCH colder. Do you think it is anything besides bad gas?

It's possible that with a weak battery you weren't getting enough voltage to the fuel pump, so I'd get the battery replaced first and then go from there.

Problem solved (I think). I got a good deal on an optima red top ($89 brand new) and it started right up, no stumbling or anything. It seemed to run better than when I started it up before. We'll see, I need to drive it around to see if it starts acting up again.

Just got mine out of the garage today. Had an 1/8th of a tank of 90 octane sitting for 5 months. Surprisingly, it started right up and ran great. I took it down to the gas station and put 92 octane in it. I'm usually buying 90 octane ethenol blend, but I gave it a little treat to offset the old gas....
The stumbling could've been moisture in the opti or fuel system? Whenever I start mine after a long sit, I let it idle for 20 minutes or so till it's nice and warmed up and I don't ever see any oddities in the way it runs... Dunno...
