......I am throwing another set of Nitto 555R's on the back.

I have 16" rims (stock TA rims). I don't drive my car in the rain or snow, and I don't autocross or anything. The only racing I do is a couple dozen runs down the track a year, and a few on the street. I want some decent performing tires, I want a good speed rating (149+ at least), and I want a long life.

Any suggestions?

Believe it or not, the Nitto 450 does have a pretty good treadlife...

plus for the quality of tire and life you get with the nitto they are a great deal and to top it off they are priced very resonable;)

If you don't want to spend alot of money the kumhos are a great deal. I have the 712's and they work very well and are awesome in the rain (even though you don't plan on driving in the rain). I'm sure there are plenty of better tires but these are great for the price. I think I paid $110 a piece mounted and balanced. They are Z rated.

My tire set up is Nitto NT 555R 245/50/16's out back and BFG G-Force T/A KDW 245/50/16's up front and I love it, the car handles awesome. The KDW tires are awesome.
