Engine delay

I have a 91 rs. Im having problems starting her sometimes? Sometimes she wont start, no crank no nothing. But if i leave the keys in the ignition for 5-10 mins she will start right away. After she start then there is no problem with her. Only sometimes she wont start and i have to wait again. What came be my problem?:confused: Sometimes after she starts there is no problem for the rest of the day. Help?????:help:

make sure you security light is turning off...........you may have a broken wire in your ign lock cylinder..if its still vats .repaired many a car with this problem

When it fails, turn the key off. Then turn the key to ON and leave it there for ATLEAST 10 minutes. If it's the sercurity/VATS system, it should start after 10. That's the time it takes the system to reset with the key in the ignition and on.
