Where would I find boxes to ship wheels w/ tires already mounted? Proper way to package them to prevent damage? It's a full set of 4....
Someone told me UPS and the USPS would both package them for free?!?! I don't buy that for some reason...
What's the most cost effective way as well?
Any suggestions? first time mailing wheels and i want to make sure myself & the buyer end up okay :)
Thanks!
btw i called my local discount tire and they have no boxes for me

i work at discount tire and the way we ship wheels with tires already mounted on them is to put something soft against the face of the wheel and cover just the wheel front and back with cardboard circles and wrap them with tape or some type of wrapping! thats how we do it:D

its like a foam piece of paper thats very thin! then after you put the cardboard circles on tape the living snikey out of it and make sure its snug:D

are the tires on them? when i ship wheels just put cardboard over the front and back of the wheel and then shrink wrap the hell out of the wheel and never had a problem
topher i have a roll of wrap if you need it , I can bring up to RPM:D

Go to a tyre / wheel shoppe and ask for olde boxes or scrounge from their dumpster. Easy. Cheap. Effective.

problem w/ that is that those shops usually buy wheels separate and the boxes aren't the right size :D

dont forget the soft protective covering that goes under the carbboard or you will risk scratching the wheels;)
