I'd love to know too.... Although the only thing i'm familiar with is a hypertech programer, but supposedly those are really only good for reseting the speedo for gears and tires...

I have a friend at work that has a 2002 Camaro 3800, and used the HPPIII's power programer and picked up a few HP with it. He also went with a 180 thermo, and changed the fan speeds. His vehicle was pretty responsive after the power tune.

I think you can send your computer to a place and they will reprogram it for you. Thats the best way for the most gain, I'll try to find the place.

ZZPerformance.com will reprogram your computer for you. If i remember correctly you just send them the computer with your list of mods, and they tune it accordingly. From what i've heard, people have seen improvements in the way the car performs overall (smoother shifting, improved shift points, better responsiveness.. etc.) but they haven't seen much improvement in the way of measureable HP.

Besides that, there aren't many options... but in the coming months, tuning hardware and software will be available for these cars. I'd check with your local speed shop this summer.

one company has tuning software for the v6.
Ed wright in oklahoma has some software from fastchips so he can tun v6s. i was his first guinea pig. he picked up ~10hp and torque.
