diablo sport predator problem help!!

i just purchased a predator programmer from a buddy but it doesnt work for anyhing but reading codes. is there a way i can send it back to them and have them re program it or am i screwed??

Sounds like your screwed to me. They can be used on one vehicle only for programming and cannot be reprogrammed. I would try and get my money back if I were you.

What he said. They marry themselves to the car's PCM & can only be used as readers on another car. Hope you can get your $$ back!

The Predator will marry to the vehicle upon upload of the factory tune and connot be re-flashed, for any reason, back to a blank tool. This marrying of the Vin # to the tool is what makes it possible for us to allow the vehicle to be re-flashed by GM, and still be re-programmed again by the Predator. Re-flashing of the Predator is not possible with out the complete disassembly of critical componetes of the Predator tool.

On Diablosport tuning site they now say they will be
"resetting" Predator units for a $75 fee. If you haven't
just already gone and extracted your money from the
dude, this would be your better option.
