View Full Version : Another AIR question...
i currently posted a thread about the codes i am throwing:
P0412 - AIR Switching Valve A Circuit Malfunction
P0415 - AIR Switching Valve B Circuit Malfunction
P0418 - AIR Relay "A" Circuit Malfunction
P0419 - AIR Relay "B" Circuit Malfunction
i replaced the relay (AIR PUMP)....are there 2 relays..i saw AIR SOL(what is that?)...also how many cycles do i need to run the car for the code to delete if this is the problem? what im thinking is how come both check valves can go bad at the same time...so it MIGHT be the relays OR the pump going bad...
thanks guys

There is a Air Pump Relay and in the bottom box under the hood an air pump 30a fuse.... Helms manual for those codes suggests to first check those and then the air solenoid valve electrical connection which has the blue clip directly in front of the valve itself. If that is a good connection the connection circuit itself needs to be tested for shorts :)
Tuff to see in this pic but a vacuum line runs from the top of the air switch valve to the solenoid valve electrical connection.
