I thought the 10-spokes only came on SS's, but lately I've been seeing more and more stock Z28s with them. Did your Z come with them?

The 10 spoke SS wheels only came on the 2000 and up SS's from the factory.

This is what I thought. I guess these people just changed the wheels, but are still calling them stock because it is just a wheel modification and not mechanical.

Yes, that's correct. I think alot of people have the misunderstanding of what "stock" means.
In my opinion, if you change ANYTHING, on the car, except for maintenance things, then you are no longer stock.
That's just my opinion. I think the first mod I did to my car was the 10 spoke rims, so at that point, it was no longer stock.

Just like Lasombra52 said, once you change anything, it is no longer stock. Even if it is not a performance mod. Stock means, just they way it came from the factory or off the show room floor brand new.

Well 2002 Z's has 10 spoke-ish rims. Myabe your confusing them, but the traditional 10 spokes were SS only.

Yeah, I know about those. I always refer to those as the "spider web" wheels. The ones I'm talking about are the actual 10-spokes from the SS's. I'm guessing it is just a popular thing to put the 10-spokes on Z's now.
BTW, is that your Z there? It looks like you've got an SS hood with a manta (scoop blackout) on it. Got any more pics?

Thanks but they don't look chrome. That camera sucks. :( And I don't think he did yet. I think he was waiting for tires.

New guy here, first post, I was wondering the same thing. I have seen no less than 5 Z's on car lots here in NC with 10 spokes on them. I know it is a popular mod but I did'nt think it was that popular. Thay are all '02 models.

500 and completly painting the hood from a red to silver. Though at some angles and in some light the hood looks darker than the rest of the car.
