I got a dent in the hood of my car from a foul ball (baseball). It was a nice smooth dent and didn't harm the paint at all.

So I picked up a "Ding King", "As seen on TV" from Checkers Auto parts for about 20 bucks, I was sceptical but I figured for $20 I could give it a try.

I tried it and I would say it got the dent about 80% out. Not perfect but not bad for what I figured was a POS product. :D

Oh man, glad it wasn't me...I would have chucked the baseball back at the batter. That interesting though that it almost worked...I don't think I'd ever use one, but you never know. Could be the perfect solution to make a beater look better.

Did you try to pop it several times? I saw a study on TV where they had to do that.

Yeah, the guy that was hitting is a friend of mine and is on my team actually. And I was stupid for parking so close to the field. Plus he said he would help me pay to get it fixed.

Cant realy hate the person that hit the car with the baseball. I mean its a risk you take when parking by a field.

I always wondered, if say a group of kids is playing baseball, hits your car, breaks a windshield, are they liable for it???

I broke a windshield several months ago (parking lot is right behind the homerun fence. I hit it out during a game of over the line and hit a car about 350 Ft away. shattered the window completely. Spiderwebbed the whole thing. Nothing he can do. He called the cops which is located across the street from the park and they said its a liability you take parking next to a baseball field and since we were hitting on a large field at home plate there was nothing they can do.
