alright, here is a basic run-down of the problem. If i floor the car and take it to say 6250 in a few gears, and then slow down, i will smell burning clutch. I dont understand why this would be happening, my foot is all the way off it, im not making that much power over stock. are there any tests i can do to confirm 100 percent that its the clutch, and if it is do i just have to get a new one???
car is in sig.
You must do the drill mod for the clutch in an LS1 car to work properly. If you haven't done it, that's your problem. It's the first thing to do when dealing with "clutch" issues on your car.

You sure it's the clutch and not the brakes from slowing down:dunno:
How does the pedal pressure feel?
Does it seem to change after each shift?

pedal pressure and engagement point stay pretty much the same....ive never even had the clutch stick to the floor, so i suppose it could be the brakes, but the one time i tried powershifting, the clutch slipped like crazy. Never tried that again
