Was at the Dealer and just had my driver side cat replaced for the 2nd time. Also had the water pump replaced due to leaking. While I was there I had new plugs(NGK TR55) and my Taylor thundervolt 50 wires put in. Car runs bad ass.
The mechanic who worked on my car new how to fix the car. He did not know anything about the car. He began to tell me that putting headers on my car would be a waste of time because the car did not put out enough power. He also told me that it was not even rated at 300 hp from the factory. He also told me that all dyno results were rigged and none should be believed. I got very quiet after he spouted all that shit off because how do you even talk to a retard.

You don't argue, you just show him two strips of black rubber marks from your 300+ HP Firebird as you leave the lot.

:hmm: I like that idea, I may have to get me one after all is said and done, but I like the 2 black strips of rubber idea as well. :drive:

The thing is I felt like taking a short club to him but wisdom prevented me from doing so. A decade or so I might have knocked a few of his chicklets outs for being so stupid but these days big bad Bill is sweet William now. I do have a laminated copy of my dyno sheet in my tool box. I did not want to even give this guy the satisfaction of saying it was faked. He did know how to do the mechanic thing though. It was fun watching him bust up his knuckles on the #8 spark plug though.

I stopped in at the chrysler dealership once to see what that crossfire looked like. The salesman sees me looking at it and starts in on his crap.
Salesman: You know that car will do 160mph
Me: Not to bad. My Formula is rated at 163mph top speed.
Salesman: Your car will not do over 105mph
Me: Oh yes it will
Salesman: Oh no it will not. They have a governor on them and can't go faster than 105mph.
Me: You know I have the V8 and not the V6.
Salesman: Doesn't matter.
Me: I had mine up to 140 already
Salesman: I doubt that.
Me: <<walks away shaking head>>
