I am going to get my F-150 painted but I have a question about something.

I hear that the main problem with companys who paint cars is the prep part. I hear alot of companys slack on this or cutt corners. I am wanting to (try) and prep the car myself and then take it in to get painted. I have read that alot of people do this so they know they get a good prep job.

I was wondering how hard it was to prep a car and what it involves. This would be a first time for me and would you recommend it. If anyone has details you can share with me that would be great.

thanks in advance.

Prep is everything. It is not hard to do, but takes some time. Send me a number and a time I can call you.

I don't mean to put you on the spot, but I think it would be great help for all our members if info like this could be posted.. :dunno:
