Very close to where I live. I'm right in the OLD Brampton, walking distance to Gage Park. We should meet one day. My Hawk is a silver 2000.

I already posted specs on the cam on ls1.com so they aren't a secret. I'm going to be using a 230/230 .595 .595 on a 112. The rest of the work I cannot comment on until it's finished. ;) So It's going to lope :D

OOOH a 112 lsa will sound nice!! I think thats probably the best of both drivability and lopiness (is that a word?). I wish I could afford a cam!!

I would love to be able to eventually get a 224/224 112 but I would definately need to get a tune to even come close to passing CA emissions!:mad:

Does 112 bring much more power lower into the rpm range than a 114 on s 224/224?

It only moves it a couple hundred, but yes the power comes on a little quicker that way.

and with a good tune, you will pass all day long and twice on sundays with a 224. a 114lsa will be painless, a 112 can be made to work for you too, ubt requires a better yet tune, and you will get a little more lope.... :devil::firey:

Man...I want a cam sooooo bad, but I just don't want warranty issues...this car needs to be my DD for a few more years and I do 105 miles round trip. In fact, I think I am going to purchase an extended warranty. Once I get a company truck, my baby will be parked for extended modding and weekend killing!

Think a dealer would mind doing warranty work if I drove in with a 112? <lope lope lope lope> No sir, I haven't done anything to my car :D

I turned 37K last week, so Yea I waited too. But don't do the extended warranty if you even"think" you will mod her, it will be a waste of your money.

I have looked at these parts till I can't no more :D

Worst case scenario I will have 100,000 miles on her before I can park her in about 2.5 years! With that amount of driving, I think an extended warranty would put me at ease...but once I get the truck...MOD MOD MOD!!! Maybe I'll get like a 75,000 mile extended warranty and 4 yrs or something like that.

You have no idea! I bought her new in March of '03 w/ 128 miles and already have 29,000 miles on her! But I bought the car to drive, not sit in the garage. There is nothing like driving a Firehawk everyday to work and back! I love every minute (especially with the GMMG on now!). Hopefully when I pass people in my Hawk, they are doing what I used to do and say "holy crap!!! A Firehawk!!!"

I am doing for everyone else really :cool:
