I have reset my pcm and i am still throwing the code:
P0420 Catalyst Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1)
What does this mean and what do i need to do to fix it?
i have replaced the cat

Can you take it to the dealership? Or have you modifyed it too much?

Did you get the extended warranty? I found out that I have one. Did not know I bought it.

Don't feel bad man. I get the same code...except it's for Bank 1 and 2.

Try waiting about a week or two to see if it goes off by itself. Mine does.

no i drove around with it for awhile now. i replaced both of my o2 sensors and reset the pcm so im gonna see if that will work

:( well i dont know now. drove it today and it came back on. now my lazy ass has to find the scanner again and see what it is doin now:mad:

Your cat is dead. As long as you don't have 80,000 miles, it will be warrantied.
