No, I don't know. We moved the car around in the shop yesterday and it feels really light. We'll be weighing it with our scales when we get a chance. This is going to be a fun project! Bob :)

The Weight on a stock 2nd Gen is 2850 when you add then weight of the bigger engine it will be about 125 lbs heavier

i've been under the impression that a ls1 weighs less than a fully dressed turbo rotary?

Thats what i plan to do. Put an LS2 in my RX-7. I dont even care about the weight gained. Its already pleasantly light to start. (BTW - non turbo second gen. rx7s are 2700lbs (if turbo add 200 lbs). Third gens are 2800lbs.)
