Those maxes sound like the "new" card format?

The old/classic card has no limits on the specific vehicle line, and just the 3,500 total max. I refused to migrate mine from old to new.

That thing is wonderful, it's likely provided me at LEAST a free Malibu thus far, when taken against 5 vehicles so far.
