Need help-transmission.

We just got done installing my turbo and my 4L60E or whatever is leaking like a hoe. Right out of the bellhousing.

1st, Anything I can do to fix this?

2nd, How much is a TH400 swap with the TH400 being built for 500 hp?

If it's leaking around the rear of the tq. converter, you need to replace the front input seal.

Darn hoes. :zombie:

No experience with th400 prices here. :)

How hard is replacing the seal? :help:

remove transmission, slip converter out, pry seal out, tap new seal in.

basically a transmission R&R is required. :( G'luck.

you can still keep the 4l60e tranny with the turbo if you dont plan on going crazy with it :p we can build them to handle 600rwhp but if you want a th400 we can handle that to hold what ya can boost:D

Can you give me an estimate on how much it is for a 4L60E to TH400 swap with in a 3.8l V6 camaro capable of 550 hp/650 tq?
