James,
I thought I'd let you know the LSX seems to have put the a/f back to about where it was before this latest tune you sent me. After the tune my ltft's were hovering right around 0. Now they are back up to +2.34. This is all at idle. My cruise #s are all postivie...+5 or higher. I am planning to re-dyno it next Saturday, so I'll let you know how that goes. Oh, I also installed a Jantzer proted TB too.
The good news is it feels a LOT stronger up top now!!!

you should probably let james tune for all your mods - you just said you are working on tuning but just added a new tb? ;) :D
you want your ltrims to be zero or slightly negative.
also - after uploading a new tune - make sure you put in enough driving time to leat the pcm re-learn everything. it takes time for the pcm to relarn fuel/timing/etc curves after a new tune is installed.

LOL - Thanks Smiley. I am sure James is frustrated trying to keep up with my latest round of mods. He gave me this tune for the PPCs only. He knew I was going to do the LSX & TB. But this was only adjusting for the headers. I just wanted to let him know (& all of you) that contrary to what I had heard, the LSX &/or TB does appear to affect tuning.
Oh, and these #s were before & after a 100 mile cruise, with about a dozen engine starts, and disconnecting the battery to start with.

The Preadator DOES a "clear" of your Ltrims etc... when you flash in a new tune BTW.
No reason to reset the PCM and certainly no reason to disconnect the battery when you can just pull 2 fuses ;)

I had the battery disc'd to R&R the intake.

I gained about 10hp going from an LS1 intake to the LSX, and the torque was the same. But there may be more in it. I was getting KR, so I had to turn the timing almost all the way down (-7.5% or 1.75 deg) and the fuel all the way up (+5%....whatever that works out to). So maybe if I can get another custom tune from James, I can get a few more ponies.
The numbers were:
371rwhp, 375rwtq Uncorrected
355rwhp, 358.5rwtq SAE

Yeah I would have started by riching it up and see if the KR went away. Given 5% is "really" not that much you may "need" another custom tune and a wideband to get it "dead on". Then you can pull your timing back in/up.
