I just hate it when I get a passenger that keeps playing with the door locks and/or window controls:mad:

Especially since I did the progressive door lock bypass, so that the radio gets accessory power by remote cause whenever you hit the unlock button on the door, the radio will turn on and off:sillyme:

So I decided to just disable the passenger controls:cool:

The lock switch is easily disabled by unplugging it, however, since the window switch is wired in series with the driver's main switch panel, you have to install jumper wires for the passenger side window to still work....

Its funny you should post this because on the weekend I swapped out my components in the doors so I had to take the skins off including the bezels and switches. When I tried to turn down the window on the passenger side with the drivers button to check for clearance, I realized I needed both panels. The passenger one was in the trunk of my other car which my wife had so going by the drives side switch I jumped the passenger to make it work.

Thats a neat trick, I might just try that on my Camaro. I am guessing that the jumpers would be in the same position for my car, its an 02 v6? It pisses me off when the passenger starts playing with buttons. :slash:

It should be the same for all F-Bodies, but just to make sure, test the corresponding leads on the switch panel with an Ohm meter and make sure they have continuity.....
