Have these things panned out yet or another high dollar product gone bust?

i think its really worked well for those with the 90mm version trying to squeeze every little bit of HP

My big question is the 850 LSX and the almost 500 TB worth 15 to 25rwhp? I am going with a 409ci and a good intake would be well worth it.

The fear is getting minimal gains from such a large investment.

someone on here switched from the LS6 to the LSX and lost 2 hp

for the non-strokers the LS6 should work fine

Whats the big difference between the LS6 and the LSX intake manifold?

isn't the LSX intake got a lot of meat to it? meaning it could really be ported??

yes but i believe the LS6 can be ported as well. the LSX is cool, but unless you're running some serious bolt ons or a stroker, it's overkill IMO.

you might want to try BBK intake. It has an 85 mm inlet (only 5 less than the 90), and it is only $430 or so. I have heard only good stuff on this intake.

when you get LSx fast intake you better have bigger mods in mind like heads, s/c, stroker. if that is the case then I suggest getting the 90mm TB as well. but if you ain't doing bigger mods then LS6 will be just fine. LSx gave me 18rwhp, LS6 intake 10-14 rwhp gain tops. but when doing the bigger mods as stated above, because of the fast LSx intake u'd gain another 6-10rwhp easy, while LS6 intake will just rob u from the extra gain.
