specify year.
My car, and other 98-99's seem to sit 3/4" lower than the 00-02 without the upgraded springs.

Ryan.
98, 99, and some 00 got different springs, vs a normal Ta.
The 00-02 are just normal TA springs, the "performance suspension" consists of wheels/rims, and swaybars on the newer WS6 cars.
I have parked my car next to 10+ 2000-2002 WS6 Trans Am's and all have been noticable higher, when parked next to eachother. Not parked next to eachother, its not noticable. I have confirmed i have GM springs in my car, uncut.

We pulled the rear end outt o paint and now my car looks like it's A$$ is in the air stuck.....:( I parked nexted to a friends 00 WS6 Formula and I looked to be 1 1/2 inch higher than her's. Help I'm not wild about this new look. My guess was the shocks anyone want to take a stab at it. We start tonight and have less than a week to get it back and on the hauler to go.
are you sure the torque arm is installed correctly?
the rear shocks are located behind the center of the rear end, and if the TA is not mounted right, the butt of the car will go up in the air.
Although with a stock TA i don't think you can install it upside down, but maybe an aftermarket one you can.
how far have you driven it to let it settle?
Ryan.

Well it seems the springs were not fully seated with the tip in the correct starting location. The TA was a little loose and the noise it gone that GOD. Johnny ran late when we were wroking on it and to get it finished for the World of Wheels he did most of it at 2am the night before so I can understand. Thanks for the help I really hated the 4WD look.
glad you got it fixed :)
I can't wait until may, when i can see you car every day on my wall im not a fan of the 3rd gen this month.
