VVT on Duramax?

Has anyone heard anything about the variable vain turbo being used on the Duramax in the near future? I know the Ford PSD got one with the 6.0 and it makes it sound like a freakin' airplane taking off, but I hadn't heard if the Dmax or Cummins were going to go with that technology. Any ideas???

All LLY Dura builds have the V V T turbo. They switched in late Dec.

The earlier LB7 build doesn't have it.

I should get out more often then!:bashhead: Does that explain the numbers jump on the LLY option to 310/590?

Basic changes:

Improved fuel filter.
Improved injector design and access.
VVT Turbo
New PCM
Improved Allison
Less emissions, yet more power.

Most the TQ gain is from the turbo.
