How much would it cost to drop in a low mile ls1/6 speed combo into a 3rd gen?

About how much would this cost me If i bought an ls1 engine and a six speed and dropped it into a 90-92 z28? Would it be very hard? What all is involved? and is it worth it? Should i just go with a crate engine and a six speed? :help:
