Well I submitted mine, I honestly can't see it doing any good - GM is too beholding to its bean counters to really give a damn about us... but I did my part anyway. One can only hope. :D

I already received a response from GM...........
Dear Mr. Brown,
Thank you for contacting the Chevrolet Customer Assistance Center. We appreciate your interest in the General Motors family vehicles, especially the design of the Pontiac GTO.
We are interested in your suggestions and appreciate it when customers like you take the time to write to us about them. We value the opinions of our customers and we always take them into consideration as we plan for future models.
We apologize for the disappointment expressed in your email and want you to know that a number of Chevrolet Camaro owners and enthusiasts have expressed their fondness for this vehicle.
However, on September 25, 2001 General Motors Corporation announced that 2002 would be the last model year for the Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird. Due to the decrease in demand for the sport segments, this decision was unavoidable.
Although Camaro and Firebird have always had focused appeal, both Chevy and Pontiac will continue the tradition of providing performance vehicles with high value.
GM will continue to support the millions of Camaro and Firebird/Trans Am owners with replacement parts, reproduction parts, accessories and technical support through its Service Parts Organization. GM has stated previously that the company is committed to continue operation of the Ste. Therese, Quebec, plant through the term of the current Canadian Auto Workers contract that expired in fall 2002.
At this time, no product has been assigned to the plant after that date, but GM continues to study possible options. Nothing has changed concerning GM's production plans for the Camaro and Firebird.
If you should need to contact us in the future, simply reply to this message or call our Chevrolet Customer Assistance Center at 1-800-222-1020. Customer Relationship Managers are available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., Eastern Time. A computer file has been created with documentation of your compliment and request, please reference file: 1-197649681.
Again, thank you for contacting Chevrolet.
Sincerely,
Ashley Petit

Actually it is doing something, if you read that thread on camaroz28.com we are being noticed and it is making GM rethink a few things. If nothing was done, we would never have another Camaro now it is possible that we might. :)

Well Checkmate I certainly hope so - as I said before GM seems to be far more loyal to its bureaucratic bean counters than the people who buy their cars (and keep them in business), they've proven that time and time again, and not just with the F-body. I went ahead and e-mailed them anyway - one can only hope they they'll actually respect their customer's opinions for once, but forgive me if I take a "wait and see" approach on this. I'm not holding my breath for anything.

Gm will come out with the Camaro when they feel like it. I bet a majority of the people bitching to GM are people who wouldnt buy a brand new Camaro if it came out.

Thats what I'm thinking too. I mean say if they did come out with a 2006 Camaro, hell the price tag will probably be close to $40k! I'm not gonna trade in my 00 Z28 for a new one and pay $20k after trade in just to have another Camaro with probably 30hp more.

So, the plants where the f bodys were made are just sitting there, not producing any type of cars right now?

They completly closed down the Canadian plant(swept clean) any future Camaro built will not be anywhere near the F-Body platform. They`ll do it based simular to that POS 04 GTO
Cherish what you have now because the true Camaro is GONE:(
