to see in the new truck section here on this site? i'm just wondering what everyone else thinks....i like the Part Numbers thread in the truck section on ls1tech, and i also like the fastest trucks list, and maybe a pictures thread/sticky would be cool too....just some of my ideas that maybe we can talk the Admin into on down the road....whatta you guys think?

We can definately start a parts thread and make it a sticky. :) Fastest truck list in no problem either. Once we get setteled down all that will fall into place. If anyone has an idea to make this forum better feel free to speak up. :)

Yea a fastest list would be good. I might even be number one for a very short time. :p
If we do a parts list, lets make it a more orginised than the one on tech.

Definitely a parts list, a common problem/fix thread, and some how to's or a FAQ thread.

How bout we make a thread with mod reviews and sticky it? That way everyone wanting to know if a 2600 stall will be noticeable can simply refer to that thread?

I would like to see a FAQ for sure... So many of these trucks out there, but the info is hard to find.

Be careful on the amount of sticky's you get. The fastest list is a must, afte that, see where the intrest goes.

i like the MOD REVIEW idea...on a local ls1 board here they have a Cam Review thread in the performance section, i really like that....maybe something like that. and just have the truck section moderator bump it up daily or something.

it really is pretty cool...especially since most of us have the same size engines (4.8/5.3) so it will be easier to figure out what works and what doesn't. and maybe it will cut down on the 5 billion "what cam should i run" posts.

What about a post for recalls and updates from gm? Maybe? Probably not because I'm sure someone would make a post about it. Anyone know if gm is going to update the engines in the fullsizes anytime soon?

i did a ls1 electric fan install in my truck, best darn mod yet really. the clutch fan weighs 9 pnds and was only needed about 10% of the time if that. i drove to arkansas and it never came on one time the whole trip.
i know it was winter and all but its just an awesome mod, and i got a override switch also. :woot:

Just so you all know, the fastest truck list is still going up but I haven't had the most amount of time to do it lately. Right now i'm thinking just 1 list rather than breaking it down into NA and Power Adder. If we get enough entries I can always do that later.
