Discussion about TEH GTO

Ok when I first saw the GTO, I said it was ugly and I still think that but when I saw the GTO Judge or GTO Ws6( whatever pontaic wants to call it) pic. And thought about the fact that it will have a LS2 or LS6. The GTO became a more attractive car, and I would like to get the GTO Judge or GTO Ws6( whatever pontaic wants to call it). Did this happened to anyone else?

One thing I always find funny when someone says the new GTO is a boring, ugly looking car.

The Pontiac Tempest was a boring and very ugly looking car as well. The original GTOs had about as much style as this new one does, so in reality, I think GM did a good job in keeping with the spirit of the original.

Looks like the Grand Prx with the ram air hood. (I dont know if slp makes those, or if its an open at GM.. All I know is theres about 10 of them around town, they think there hot shit too..)

I think its a waste of money..

Thats the standard '05 GTO. I like the back end without that big gay ricer spoiler that the '04 has, and it has a newly redesigned front and rear bumpers, the rear also gets a single pipe on each side for the dual exhaust. We all wanted dual exit exhaust, and hood scoops as standard equipment. And everyone I talked to who saw the car in person said that the rear spoiler had to go also. It looks like Pontiac was listening. I think I just might scrape the dough together and once I see the '05 in person, go ahead and buy one.

And there is no way in hell it's getting the LS2 for 05, probably not even for 06.

I love the WS6 my dad has but no way would I take that over a Z06. The Z06 is driving perfection in my mind. I have never enjoyed driving any car more than the Z06.

well best bang for the buck, the GTO wins, but you cant beat 14 inch rotors on the CTSV.... I say GTO. Interior is nicer.

There are 2 WS6's that I would take over a GTO. My 02 Sunset Orange that I had and a 99 30th Ann. WS6.

If someone offered me a brand new, no miles, GTO in a color I'd like for my WS6, I'd turn them down without thinking twice!

I saw my first GTO in person this past weekend. I felt really bad for the car- the couple that had the car took it to a car show with bugs all over the front of the car, and even decided to rev it (with 700 miles on it) and hit the rev limiter several times... :(

Do you know what it would cost to make a car like the GTO from scratch?I think they did a good job on it and didnt cost an arm and a leg to put it in production either.I do believe that in a couple of years it will get it own personality and do the orginal justice.

when i first saw the pics of gto i thought ok not bad and i loved the interior pics.

when i actually went to a delaership to look at one omfg.

ugly. the only one that actually looks ok was red and blue.

love the interior dont love wheels 275/40/17 are a strech for gtos fenders.

i dont know . even if it comes with ls6 and hood i dont know.

im loving my trans am ( with one exception live axle ) and if i were to be given a choice to get a gto and trade in my ta and if my payments were the same i might just do it because of irs and interior but on the other hand it like awd if i were to have one car id have to get sti. but none of this is gonna happen so the only thing i can do is to keep my ta and get a beater thats all.

hell im hoping for 200? camaro or trans am .

That is becaue most don't understand that the gto is not a badge on a car..
