You should get about 400rwhp minimum.

If I remember correctly, the LT4 hotcam combined with the LT4 timing chain and crane gold roller rockers picks up 35-45 rwhp. Be sure to get the LT4 knock module. Some the best flowing heads out there are the AFR's. As always, a custom computer tune must be done!

A good set of AFR 210cc LT4 heads and the right cam gring can get you near 370+rwhp.:)

If you're on a budget, go with the LT4 Hotcam kit, and maybe some Lloyd Elliot ported LT1 castings. 360ish rwhp for $1100...not bad.

Phil at Advanced Induction will be doing my heads and selecting a cam based on the flow numbers and how I will use my car.

I just got my motor back together-
11.8:1 383
Fully ported Lloyd's heads(2.00/1.56 vales)
XE288 cam - 236/242 .560/.575 on a 110 lsa
Ed Wright tune
all the goodies-
made 374rwhp/364 rwtq in a 6 speed car with a 14:1 a/f...think there is a little more in there by getting to 13:1 a/f.
For the money Lloyd does great work, but I am already looking at a set of TEA's myself.

No offense at all, but were you expecting more out of that combination? I certainly would, even at 14:1.
I don't think much was done to your heads (?) Did you get flow numbers and select your cam from them? I'm really intrigued by your car, because the 383 route is where I'm going next, and it better yield 400rwhp +.

I think he started there about the time he got fed up with his old employer, told them to shove the job up their ass, and was contemplating selling his car....that sound about right, Steve? :D

Your close, LOL. Actually I got everything straight at the refinery and it's been going great... till lately. The refinery is cutting back drastically on contractor positions and as a result they're cutting the higher level positions to reduce cost... for once a good salary is a curse.
Anyway I've been doing myown side work out of Thunder's shop for a good while now. Since the plant is letting me go I've been offered an opportunity to finally do my side work full time for them. Gotta love it!

No I was not happy with what it put down at all. lloyd built me one set, sent a sheet- 278@.600 and 20x@.600, the the valve job was all jacked up- so he done me another set, said they flowed comparable, but no sheet.
BTW- Actual hp was 387/374...those I posted are the "corrected".

I don't think that those numbers are too bad leedog....i mean you still can get 30-40 hp i bet just by tuning......it might be pulling some timing also if you havn't desensitized your km......i'm desensitizing mine today.... oh i have some ported LT1 cast heads (280@.550..don't remember what the exhaust was) and a XE 236/242....it dynoed 350 with 14.0 air\fuel.....and it was pulling some timing because of false knock....i figure once i get it tuned right and when it's not pulling timing it will make around 400 on a stock bottom end....
