View Full Version : Got a NOS 5177 kit? Come in please.

Where did you but jets bigger than .032s? I don't want to drill them out & I really don't want to go with no jets...I have tried a bunch of different NOS jets, but they are different than the 5177 jets.

You can buy them from Jeg's or Summit. They are just NOS flare jets, about $8 each plus they nail you for $8 handling fee.

Sorry I don't have those left. I'm slowly selling my 5177 and the closest thing I have left to what you need is .036s but, you really wouln't feel a gain over the .032s.

I am thinking the .044 is more than the powershot noid can flow. If I am wrong I am not off by much.

I think it can handle a bigger pill than a .044.

Thye can handle more. A pair of .044s is about a 150 shot at the crank. NOS Powershot noids are rated to flow 175 at the crank. Many people have reported gains of 140-150rwhp with no jets so it is around a 175 shot at the crank. :)

I understand that the -4an line will only flow so much but no jets??? I didn't know you can do that!

It isn't a good idea to run no jets as you can develope some turbulence in the line. The best thing is the drill out a set of pills to the same size as the inside diameter in order to keep the nitrous flowing smoothly.
