My friend wants to disable the traction control on his 2000 Firebird. It didn't come with the option of having the switch. How would he go about doing this?

Why the hell would a V6 have traction control? Our cars only spin one wheel!

What deal Matt?
It gives me this "Low Trac" light every time im messing around.
So evidently it does have traction control.
However, there's no switch to disable it, soooo...yeah.

Yeah, mine too. Like if I go over a speed bump and give it some gas as i leave the bump. Wet roads do it too. Just stick some weight in the well and it will help. A speaker box with two 12's helps alot.

My low traction light turns on all the time. That's not traction control.... nor can you turn it off.

Well I guess its not technically traction control cause its called Acceleration Slip Regulator, but IMO thats traction control... right?
When my tires spin when i'm messin around or in the rain my low-trac light comes on, but I can solve that by clicking the ASR switch off

But he doesn't have a switch for it. He told me just now that his car will spin the tires forever in reverse, but hardly any from a stop in drive(auto) And last I checked, first gear and reverse are the same gear ratio..no?
