This guy wants to sell me an '80 350 powered automatic LT. He is the original owner and has put an amazing 22,000 original miles on it. Garage queen, new looking original paint......is it worth it?

No I wouldn't say it's worth it cause there is no such thing as an '80 Camaro LT... The last year for a Camaro Type LT was 1978. Could it possibly be a Berlinetta (the LT's successor)?

Aside from what it isn't, it still sounds like an interesting deal - I have a HUGE soft spot for 2nd gens and am hoping to get another one someday myself. Go find out what the car really is and I can give you a good solid answer. :D

I thought LT=base model, it is a base model with a v8, could it be a 305?

Noop, the base model wasn't called anything, certainly not "LT" (maybe "sport coupe" in some places). It could have a 305, in fact that's the biggest V8 an 80 Camaro could have that wasn't a Z28, 79 was the last year the 350 was available in all models. If it's a 6-cylinder, it's the 3.8 V6 (the Chevy 229 cid engine, not the Buick 231). It could also have the 4.4 (267 cid) V8, a boat anchor of a motor if there ever was one.

So you need to find out if it's either a 267 or a 305 V8. A base Camaro with a 305 with 22K on it, if it's in really good condition (and I mean REALLY good condition), $4500 isn't exactly out of line. If it's got the 4.4 or the V6 I wouldn't pay that much for it.

I know its a V8, it sounds badass, its probably the LG4 quadrajunker, I am looking to sell it for a profit if at all possible, I need a quick turn arround on this car, but I dunno if its possible

Actually I'd hope that car has a 305, I wouldn't want the 4.4 or the V6 :turd: I highly doubt you could sell that car for any type of profit, $4500 is the absolute max I'd pay for such a car that you've described. If it was a Z28 or an RS I'd say go for it, but I really think you'd be really hard pressed to get more than $4500 for that car, I think it'd be more trouble than it's worth - but good luck whichever way you go. :D
