exhaust ?'s

im was thinking about doing my exhaust sometime and i have a few ?'s. and i dont want to spend a lot of money on it either.

i was looking at headers. i saw some LT's on ebay for $279, they were made my Pacesetter. i really havent heard much about these but ive seen products all over the place. would these be a good buy:think: what would be a good LT for say around $300.

then i wanted to get a tru dual x-pipe setup like the Lanes kit.... http://www.lanesperformance.com/custom_duals.html but im not sure which mufflers would give me the meanest sound. i was thinking about the Flo-Pro twisted mufflers... http://www.flopro.com/Twister.htm maybe...... they have a vid on there with an LS1 with a simalar setup and it sounds :cool:


anyone have the tru dual setup on there car:think: havent seen maybe peeps with it:dunno:

i dont think any exhaust shops around here cant handle making me a tru dual set up like that of lanes.:shrug: so i might have to order one if i can....

dumps are going to be much raspier and at a higher pitch, even with mufflers. But gives it that nasty, ready to race sound :D

Helps greatly if a cam is loping through that exhaust too. ;)

i dont hear any duals that are raspy ? at least not lanes duals.
and yes pacesetter headers are a great buy. im gonna put those on my LS1 when i get one

well hello Mr. Obvious :p ;)

All dumps that I"ve heard vs. bring out the rear end, sound raspier and more high pitched. But, ddnt say it was bad...jsut gives it a different tone.
