I was just wondering what how yall thought the SSR with the new 395 Horse LS2 will perform?? Is it gonna have enough to run into the 13's? Any comments on the truck? Any apperance upgrades?

It better be in the 13s.

I've heard rumors that it will run high 13's but until I see some legit track times, its just a rumor. I've heard no new appearance upgrades, just some new colors.

The handy dandy little quarter mile calculator estimated 13.4 @ 101 for a car with 4700 lb curb weight and 390 hp.

That doesn't sound right to me.

The 390 will NOT be to the wheels.

No kidding. It uses crank horsepower.

EDIT: I didnt put in race weight for the SSR. 390 hp @ 4950 race weight is 13.58 @ 100.

The calculator works pretty well with my car. I have ~260 hp @ 3450 race weight and actually ran 13.93 @ 100.7. The calculator had me at 13.8 @ 99.
