Its a 98 White M6 WS6 vert. White leather interior, and white top.
I've never seen one with this color combo. Any of you all have any ideas?

Yes white leather was available on firebird convertibles through the 99 model year and yes its rare, very rare. I would buy that in a heart beat for the right price, of course.

1998 WS6's
Formulas: 223
Trans Am: 2612
I thought I had a breakdown on colors, but not for 1998. So, the above should be total WS6's for all of 1998.

These are just general, my stats don't break it down by models like that...
White T/A ragtops = 240
Ragtops, all colors, with WS6 package = 339
Ragtops with white tops, all colors = 232
Ragtops with M6, all colors = 234

Sounds like this might be a pretty rare bird. I'm trying to get someone out in Iowa to check it out for me, but not luck so far.

Try Pontiac Historical Services... you have to pay for it, but they'll tell you exactly how many there are.

Definitely a rare and desirable bird, I'm a sucker for white leather (as long as it's not a daily driver). I saw a '98 WS6 ragtop on E-bay not too long ago, black w/white leather - sucks to be poor. :(

Bad news fellas, the car sounds like a lost cause. Dagwood from the forum works about 10 miles from the place, so he went to check it out for me.
I didn't write down everything that he told me, but I got most of it:
The drivers seat is missing about 25% of the seating surface
Passenger seat had some crap spilled on it and is now stained.
Missing part of the drivers side door panel
Drivers side window will not go up all the way
Passenger side window is shot
3rg gear syncro is on its way out
Low coolant light is on, but there is plenty of coolant
Its a quart low on oil and the oil is filthy
3 wheels have bad curb rash
Traction control doesn't work
Knobs on radio are gone and it doesn't work
SES light has either burned out or has been taken out
On a plus side, he said that the exterior is in really good condition and the top works well.
Steer clear of this car unless you can get a good price and are willing to do a lot of work.

Darin do a very nice job looking it over, and its a shame that the car is a piece cause that would have been a nice TA to have:cool:

Even better than the triple white. LOL, If I saw that in person, I'd probably be willing to empty out my bank account on the spot.
