got me :p. If you're going to be a moderator, have you thought about generating a 'common bolt-on/FAQ" type sticky at the top of the LT1 forum? I think it would be benficial. Your thoughts?

If I am that would be a great idea. Lets start a thread to make a list of the common questions so we can organize it and sticky it.

..and how did she do?

shifting was great...ran a 11.10 getting sideways out of the hole. My 60' was a 1.62 that run...I usually am in the 1.4x but the track was too cold. It was overcast and about 90 percent humidity, and very very cold. Pro shifted tranny is great but taking some getting use too. I hooked twice yesterday..a semi good 1.51 60' but both time I pulled the car out of 3rd gear since this tranny has no reluctor rings to hold it in gear. I coasted to the 8th to a 7.11 at 88 mph(stuck it in 4th and got back into it and went 11.33 at 119)my 8th mile time on my 11.10 run was a 7.12 at 97 so you can see that the coasting run would have been a good one. Oh well..giong back wed. night to NPR where it hooks all the time. 10s will be mine on motor...lol.

Good luck on the 10's. Wish we had a 'NPR' open during the week here in Cali. Instead, we get "Atkins" menu items at our fast food joints.

Nobody here likes the Mufflex line of Catbacks? The one I just got is exhaust set up number 4 for the car. I've finally gotten one that has that perfect muscle car "sound" and is definitely not a restriction at the same time. I got lucky and scored a used Mufflex cat back for 250 dollars shipped to my door. Keep in mind that this is the same cat back system that Mufflex sells for 550 dollars plus shipping brand new! The one I have basically consists of 4 inch mandrell bent tubing from the converter back with a Flowmaster race muffler and a single 4 inch hideaway tailpipe. It is only slightly louder (but much deeper sounding) during normal driving than the single 40 series Flowmaster I was running before except at WOT where it is noticeably quieter.

WhyTF would that cost $550 regularly James? Mandrel bent 4" tubing and another company's muffler?

That's pretty much how I feel about any catback honestly Mike. 550 is the price directly from them. Tbyrne has the exact same sytem for 500 though. ;)
