Need the suggestion of LS2 guys...Car related

Ok, well, the LS1 swap is near finished....Only hurdle to leap now is the exhaust. This is the way I figure it....The v6 came from the manifold, down to the cat, and the cat right into the exhaust system. On the V8, from what I understand....The cats go into the manifold, followed by the Y-pipe into the exhaust? Is that right? One cat for the V6, 2 for the 8? If so, when it comes to Y-pipes....Any suggestions? Keep cats, or go ORY without em? Any help would be appreciated, as time is ticking down on me. :(

If you're not gonna go emissions legal and not going to lower the car, I'd look at the long tubes available. On the LS1, the cats are pretty close to the manifolds, yes.
