I have a new slave cylinder with the spec 3 clutch, ive done the drill mod but when i try shifting at my max shift point, it still doesnt let me engage the stick into gear for a second. does anyone know what it could be? i havent done any matinence on the car, such as tranny fluid, diff fluid, brake fluid, and so on. could those be the problem, or is something wrong with my tranny?

Synchromesh should be fine in a warmer climate; it's kinda thick in colder climates, but in Chandler, you should have no problem

With the delay as you describe it, I'm still suspect of the release of the clutch being full like it should be. The cones should synchronize the gear to the slider almost immediately, unless the clutch is still partially engaged, which is going to slow synchronization down considerably. I'll post up my method of bleeding it in a bit. Might help....
