i have a 98 v6 camaro.what kind of exhaust shood i get for it.ive looked at the borla, but i dnt know what is the best.let me know

the best is probably true duals for flow, and lack of rasp.
then you have your Loudmouth or Dynomouth. Drone like a mutha from what i've been told.

GMMG catback- sounds good supposedly. but then there is the almost 800 price tag (i think).

Flowmaster is a cheap viable alternative, sounds good up till ~3800-4000rpms then it starts teh rasp.

add some headers to any of the above mentioned combos and the sound will be more 'rumbly' and might get rid of some of the rasp.
when i'm talking about all of these exhausts i'm saying full 3" exhaust. don't let people tell you 3" will make you loose torque. i have custom 2.25" true duals on my 6 and i have enough torque to break teh tires loose goin' into 2nd on in an auto.

www.ls1sounds.com has sounds of our v8 bretheren's exhaust. pretty much every combo you can think of. of course it wont sound the same as on our engines but it will sound kinda similar.

LT1 Z28 catback (all one big pipe...it's 2.75")
Flowmaster 80 Series muffler (2.5")

No loss of lowend thrust and plenty of topend.

Dynomax is supposed to sound pretty good on 3.8's. A little quieter than the others though.

yes it's very quiet I used to have it. Other than that I thought it sounded great with it.
