I've heard the 712s don't get traction worth a crap on a dry road, but are decent in the wet.

I have them on my Vert with 18in Y2Ks and I can say the straight line traction when its dry is very decent....I can certainly break them loose but they don't just blow off. Cornering on the other hand is not the best in the world...I actually spun out going around a curve when they broke loose (the back tires came around on me) at a fairly moderate load. I dont have traction control and by the grace of God I kept it in the road (just facing the other way when I stopped), but it did scare the sh*t out of me and my GF.

As for wet traction I cant tell you....my car has only been wet twice. Once when I washed it when I bought it and once when I washed it prepping it for Zaino! The windshield wipers have never been turned on!!!

yeah they're Kuhmo 712s...dry traction is good, wet traction is good as well...I like 'em, they're good, inexpensive tires.

Love Pewter. SO glad i chose that color for the hawk. Its so easy to keep clean and looks good most of the time. And yes it does look classy. But overall its just a bad ass color.
