That's one of he reasons why I loved my old Camaro. My black T/A requires a lot of maintenance to keep clean.

Richard

Nice looking ride dude. Did you put the stripes on yourself, or were they professionaly applied? Just curious as I recently purchased a set for my '02 and it looks like a major PITA to do alone...........I am talking about the hood, roof and rear deck/spoiler stripes only.

I did the Decal by myself! The only pain is trying to get all the air bubbles out. You are going to have some but they will go away over time. Also,v mix some dishwashing soap and water into a spray bottle lightly spray the surface of the car where you want to apply the decal. This way you can move and adjust the decals so that it is positioned perfect. Then let it dry for at least 24 hours, perferabaly in the sun. Apply a couple coats of wax/polish a you off........................

I had a 25th Annv TA, I loved the car and got many many compliments.
White is a nice color, and looks very good with a stripe or stripes as well. I know the Blue ones look great :D and ArcticWarrior
Black must work well too. :) Nice car.

Thanks for the info.......I bought my set from "Auto Grafics" and when I got it, it was in a cannister the size of bag of bagels. I was VERY disappointed. I tried contacting the company to no avail as the stripes were all wrinkled and bubbled up and just flat unusable. I "tried" to put the stripes on, but they were destroyed. There was no way to get the wrinkles out, let alone the bubbles. I was just about ready to break out the clothes iron to flatten those suckers LOL

I REALLY want to put a set on my car, but I am hesitant to use them for a supplier now, but I cannot seem to find another reasonably priced provider out there that has what I want.....oh well, we shall see. I am stupid, I will probably give them another shot, but their shipping practices SUCK.

I have seen that site before and I like the product, I just wasn't looking for anything that flashy.......I just want the standard "Ram Air" stripes on my Bird is all. I really like the basic 1st Gen stripe look and I think it looks hot on out cars, but that is just my humble opinion of course. Maybe I just got unlucky with my shipment, who knows............

And I am sooooooooo friggin glad to have held on to the white one now. It has been "for sale" sorta kinda, more or less, for the better part of two years now, but my heart has never really been in it because I just cannot bare to part with her. Now that I am going to be without my daily driver '02 WS6, I am sooo happy driving my white '00 WS6 around again. It's like falling in love all over again. :D

Thanks Pete, I appreciate it. I am too. I am just getting ready to clean up, head out and start getting estimates <cringe>. I am not looking forward to seeing how bad the damage is undera ll that plastic. It got whacked pretty hard and you can hear all the crap under the plastic bumper rattling around and feel it moving when you move the body part around. Should be interesting to say the least................

Of the 10 F-Bods that I have owned (I still have #'s 9 & 10) I miss ALL but #1.....it was a POS '77 straight 6 with NO metal on the front end. It was completely redone in a new wave sort of art decco bondo style LOL.......I will NEVER miss that car, even though it was my very first car and my first F-Body. You could not get a magnet to stick to the front fenders anywhere no matter how hard you tried.....it was kinda scary.
