What is the best NOS kit for a WS6? With a H/C kit? Should I do wet or dry

There is NO best kit. It is what you prefer or decide to go with. Some like dry kits others like a wet kit. What are your expectations of the car, how much do you want to spray, do you want to change your fuel system? These are just some of the things to consider when deciding to spray the car. NOS is a brand name also, its Nitrous. ;) It also doesn't matter if it is a Z28, WS6, Corvette, ect. As long as it is a LS1 they will all work the same. What year is your car? Auto or stick? These will also be helpful when helping YOU decide what is the best kit for your application.
Also check out the FAQ at the top of the page. It has a lot of useful information that will answer most of your questions.

I would go with a wet NX kit or the NX maf kit. Both are quality kits and provide nice power gains. I would stay around a 125 shot unless you upgrade your fuel pump. At that point you could pill up to a 150 shot. With a decent H/C setup and a 125 shot you would be over 500rwhp and could be faster than 95% of the cars you would come accross.

a dry kit is good for smaller shots up to 125hp IMO if you want to go bigger i would go with the wet kits

IMO this statement is false. A wet kit and a dry kit will produce around the same amount of numbers if you spray the same shot. Most dry kits are rated at the flywheel and a wet kit is at the rear wheels. Regardless of what "shot" it is, you are still trying to get the correct ratio of N20 and Fuel. I have seen some dry kits that are setup correctly produce awsome numbers.

it will just depend on your personal setup. if you have internal mods, i would stay with a wet kit (TNT or NX) so you will not have to worry about timing. stock w/bolt-ons i would run dry. just my preference.

Which wet kit is the most complete? Also, what about the new NOS nozzle kit - has anyone tried this system? I am thinking of adding a wet kit to my heads/cam SS. I need to upgrade my rear/clutch first.

Most kits are the same as far as what they come with. The only things that will not come in the kits are Bottle Heaters, Purge, Window switch, ect. The nozzle kit is a direct port Nitrous Kit. There are a few that use it I do believe.

Pretty misleading statement comming from I belive a Mustang guy. Want to highlight your statement and discuss why, a 100 dry shot of any kind would work?
FYI, it would not work. The only way it would work correctly is with a upgraded fuel system and tuning IMO. I have seen too many dry kits not done right and they have had problems.

Hey chad, what do u think i should do with my setup?
Im thinking instead of going FI, to swap cams possibly to a g5x2 or 3 and add some kind of wet kit with all the bells and whistles :)
Assuming i add my walbro 255 LPH fuel pump, or two , can i go with a 200 or 250 shot eventually if i wanted to?
I figure, i make 425 rwhp right now and 408 rwtq, so with a 150 shot i should be good for 575 rwhp and almost 700rwtq. i think i could beat most things out there
how big of a shot do u think my motor can handle as is right now? its 11:1 CR

I personally wouldn't do anything more then a 100 shot maybe a 150 with real low timing and a nice fat a/f ratio. Honestly I don't see the need to get a big donkey dick cam, just stick with what you have or look for a nice Futral cam in the 228 230 range. if you want to spray a 200 or more, I would get a forged bottom end. For a little FYI with my TNT kit on a 100 shot, I managed 532/650. From where I am around, most things on the street aren't keeping up with that.

Nos dry kit #5177 work best for me. I still have another new kit in the bedroom. with the fast intake I might go with the new nos port injection just need a few parts out of the new port injection to change over. instead off buying the whole kit!
